Role: Collections Specialist
We are seeking a Part-Time collections specialist to provide outstanding support to our Finance team. In this role, you will contact our customers and collect outstanding payments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts.
Investigate historical data for each debt.
Contact customers about their overdue payments.
Process payments
Post Cash to customer account
Resolve billing and customer credit issues.
Update account status records and collection efforts.
Block /or unblock customer account as necessary.
Report on collection activity and accounts receivable status.
Basic Requirements and Skills:
High school diploma or GED.
Proven experience as a Collections Specialist or similar role.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Working knowledge of MS Office.
Microsoft Excel knowledge.
Ability to manage stress.
Skilled in negotiation.
Problem solving skills.
