Job Description :
Washington Preparatory Learning Center, located in Bellevue near the 520, serves students 3rd -12th grade, who will benefit from additional assistance with homework completion and improving understanding of content, SAT & AP exam preparation, and writing development. The learning center is a branch of Washington Preparatory School located in Bothell Washington.
$40/teaching hour (guaranteed 20-hours per week)
$20/prep time (guaranteed 20-hours per week)
28-40 hours per week
Monday-Thursday, 1:00 pm – 9:30 pm; Saturday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm (half an hour for lunch time)
Student age group: 3rd-12th grade
Tutoring Categories: SAT prep., AP exam prep., Homework Assistance, Reading, Writing & Math skills
Positions for hire:

English/Writing Teacher

Minimum requirements:

4-year college degree
Experience in the elementary age level

Minimum 3-years teaching experience
Excellent writing and grammar instruction methods
SAT & AP preparation
Strategic lesson planning capabilities
Provide student progress reports for administration and parents
Ability to differentiate lessons to meet individual student needs
Willing to work 40 hours per week year round
ESL teaching experience (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 – $40.00 per hour
Schedule:

8 hour shift
