TWIN Management, LLC, a regional restaurant management group is looking for a dynamic and energetic Human Resources Manager to oversee and administer all payroll activities and ensure all those priorities and efforts are aligned with the company’s vision and mission statements. We are looking for a self-starter, detail-oriented and resourceful candidate with experience working at the corporate level. Responsibilities:

Build and maintain a relationship with all employees and associated vendors

Guide and represent employees using organizational structure, programs and policies

Strategize and implement a competitive, efficient and cost-effective recruitment process

Continuously maintain communication with all teams

Participate and deliver companywide trainings

Administer and communicate all health and welfare benefits programs

Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.

Recruit, interview, hire and orientate all positions for management level and above

Supports organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; and recommending changes

Manage and update all employee handbooks, forms, training manuals and other HR materials

Ensure compliance with relevant HR policies and practices

Retains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current records.

Process and serve as a subject matter expert on local, state and federal laws for payroll and HR related compensation and benefits topics

Track FMLA eligibility and leave time; responsible for employee notification and impact on benefits

Support employee disability cases; track leave of absence and provide weekly status updates

Consciously create a workplace culture that is consistent with the overall organization’s and that emphasizes the identified vision, guiding principles and values of the organization

Foster a spirit of teamwork and unity among department members

Performing employee reviews and developing corrective action plans if needed

Manage and maintain entire human resources budget

Monitor all workers compensation throughout all companies

Identify and develop continuous improvements in payroll work flow and processes to increase efficiencies

Assists with appropriate HRIS (Human Resource Information System) set up for employee paperwork online and processing

Provide payroll support for all internal and external audits

Process and manage garnishments and wage assignments

Supervise stop payments and direct deposit reversals; investigate and resolve all payroll discrepancies in a timely and accurate fashion

Coach, mentor and develop human resources and the payroll department

Oversee and direct payroll procedures

Acts as backup to Payroll Specialist & Senior Payroll Specialist

Some travel is required

Performs other duties as assigned

Skills/Requirements:

2+ years’ experience in payroll

o Hospitality is a plus

Experience with Heartland Payroll and Great Plains is preferred

High school diploma or equivalent

College degree in related field is a plus

Highly organized individual with great punctuality, attendance and time management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving, critical thinking, attentive to detail and presentation skills

Able to multitask and meet deadlines

Great people skills, customer service and phone etiquette

A can do positive and professional attitude

Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, such as Word and Excel

Basic computer skills such as email and internet

Flexible to travel and work long hours as necessary

Specific vision requirements include the ability to see at close range

Ability to type, look at computer screens and use a computer mouse for excessive periods of time
