Job Summary：
The IT Data Architect/Catalyst is vital in leading analytics initiatives for the CHVAC Americas Strategic Business Unit (SBU) IT team. They are expected to play a crucial leadership role in supporting the execution of the Data and Analytics strategy for the SBU. The IT Data Architect/Catalyst will identify, prioritize, and develop plans to deliver key analytics initiatives accelerating CHVAC America’s growth plans. The IT Data Architect/Catalyst will own the overall data management strategy for CHVAC Americas, partnering with business SMEs, Data Scientists, and other IT technical resources to design and deliver data analytics solutions. Additionally, the IT Data Architect/Catalyst will be key in driving self-service analytical maturity within the SBU. The IT Data Architect/Catalyst may serve as a project manager to coordinate the delivery of large complex data projects.

Responsibilities:

Partners with stakeholders to identify and prioritize critical data analytics opportunities
Manages the opportunity and enhancement pipeline for data and analytics demand
Develops a deep understanding of existing data structures and maps essential requirements to optimal data sources
Partners with Enterprise Architecture, Enterprise Applications, and critical business partners to document data architecture strategy and partners with delivery teams to implement solutions
Collaborates with Enterprise IT architects on the best design approach for new data sets and solutions
Develops and implements a self-service data management strategy for Tableau and Alteryx environments
They may project manage larger, more complex data-related projects or may outsource to internal or external teams
Partners with and develops solutions to support CHVAC America’s data scientists and functional consumers of data, reporting, and analytics

Ideal Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/MIS, engineering, or equivalent experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
5+ years of experience developing applications/ system design supporting data and analytics
Data architecture, analysis, and design experience
Can navigate functionally and technically
Strategic experience partnering with business leaders and teams
Project management experience
Contractor sourcing and management
Requirements discovery and documentation experience
Ability to mentor and train others
Familiar with Data ETL (extract transform load) processes
Report/dashboard development experience
Proficient in Tableau and Alteryx

Base Compensation Range is $102,000 to $211,500
