Quality Inspector
Summary:
Perform inspections, checks, tests, and sampling procedures of parts and components in an electromechanical production environment
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform accurate mechanical, electrical and visual inspection of components and sub-assemblies per Drawings, Work instructions and Specification Requirements
Conduct incoming, 1st article, in-process and final inspections
Insure that all parts and components have been manufactured correctly within the required specification.
Initiate Non-Conformance reports as required.
Communicate with production personal, supervisors, and tooling specialists to resolve quality issues.
Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing on the computer in various programs
Read and interpret specifications and part prints
Return good processing and reporting
Perform other duties as assigned
Education, Training, Skills and Experience Requirements:
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
2-year degree preferred
Must have excellent English written and verbal communication skills
Ability to use hand measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauge pins, etc.) required
Experience with gage calibration desired
Experience with Optical comparator desired
Experience with metrology, blue print reading
Three years Quality Control experience is required
Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and Good Documentation Practices
General computer proficiency
Note: All candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check

Salary: $15.00 to $20.00 /hour Depending on experience
