Job Description :
Salaried position
This role is responsible for supervisory and leadership within the Bottling Department.
Responsibilities:

Oversee assigned bottling lines operations to effectively and efficiently complete production schedules.
Provide technical assistance to line employees and operators.
Coordinate maintenance actions to maintain production efficiency and quality.
Work with Bottling Manager as well as maintenance team to implement operational and mechanical improvements.
Evaluate production efficiency and cost.
Plan, organize, direct, monitor and evaluate production on assigned lines.
Provide leadership to the safety program for the Bottling department.
Understand and comply with all safety requirements.
Train and supervise bottling line employees to improve skills and performance
Continuously improve quality of processes, products, services and the culture within the company.
Provide support to the New Product Development Team in developing products within proper timelines and budgets.
Provide input to assess equipment capabilities and capital expenditure requirements.
Coordinate work in conjunction with other departments to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
Meet and exceed customer expectations.
Recommend cost-reducing ideas.
Ensure production efficiency within cost standards.
Track efficiencies, quality and production data to improve yields.
Analyze and resolve problems related to efficiency, processes, material, scrap and waste.
Provide leadership to bottling line teams consistently with the culture of the company.

Ensure Bottling operations meet regulatory requirements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of related experience
Demonstrated leadership skills
Proficient in using computer systems, including MS Office products
Proven ability to communicate with all levels in an organization
Excellent oral and written communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Working knowledge of high-speed bottling equipment
Previous experience as a supervisor in a fast-paced production environment
A proven track record of successful management experience in a unionized manufacturing environment
Proven knowledge of manufacturing best practices
Strong planning and organizational skills
Lean Manufacturing experience
GMP and HACCP experience

You should be proficient in:

Lean Manufacturing Principles
Scheduling Experience

Salary info:
$31.70 – $47.60 / hr
