Starting Wage:
1st shift ($16.50) per hour
2nd & 3rd shift ($16.50 + $1.50 shift premium) per hour

Technical Operator- ALL SHIFTS
1st Shift – Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM
2nd Shift – Monday – Friday, 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM
3rd Shift – Sunday – Thursday, 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM

Main Purpose of Job:
Under the direction of the area Supervisor, responsible for production work according to specifications and established policies, procedures, practices and standards.
Main Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Follows all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) as defined by Viant policies, practices and procedures to insure that FDA and ISO regulations and quality standards are met
Assembles components
May be required to operate packaging machine
Barsealing/Traysealing
Boxes products and applies labeling materials
Participates in Rapid Improvement Events
May be required to perform some specialized skills requiring a minimum degree of technical aptitude
Follows all safety rules
Follows area 5S expectations
Performs other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION
High school or equivalent education or job-related training required
High School diploma and equivalent certification preferred
JOB EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 6-12 months’ work experience preferred
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
Ability to read, understand and follow specification sheets
Basic mathematical skills to understand tolerances and variation
Ability to use measuring devices and hand tools
Positive teamwork attitude
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent vision & hand-eye coordination
Extended periods of bending, lifting, standing, and sitting
Significant use of hands
Frequently required to lift up to 35 lb, occasionally up to 50
Must be able and willing to wear personal protective equipment as required including:
Protective eyewear
Ear plugs
Hair net
Protective gowning (lab coat, hood, shoe covers
