Experienced Patent Paralegal/Legal Assistant
About the positionDarrow Mustafa PC is hiring an experienced Patent Paralegal/Legal Assistant to assist with patent procurement for our corporate clients.
The culture at Darrow Mustafa offers the opportunity to continue to grow your career hand and hand with an established but flourishing practice. Duties will include maintaining a large client docket and work report, preparing and filing documents with the U.S. Patent Office, managing attorney dockets, and doing other activities.
A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the patent field and a strong Microsoft Suite skill set is required for this position.
The ideal candidate will:
– Have exceptional organizational skills and have the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
– Be detail oriented
– Have strong computer skills and also have the ability to learn new software systems for billing and docketing
– Be able to prioritize deadlines
– Be a self-starter and work independently
– Have the ability to work well with others
– Exercise good judgment
– Have excellent writing and communication skills
