Job Description :
One Tech Engineering is searching for a Construction Administrative Assistant for a position located in Cassville, Wisconsin. The Construction Administrative Assistant will work in construction companies and are responsible for a variety of administrative and clerical tasks, such as handling phone calls and mail, greeting clients and updating records.
The candidate must be a US Citizen or a green card holder, the position is not eligible for sponsorship. The candidate should have at least two years of administrative support experience, preferably in a construction environment.Local candidates preferred or open to relocation. This is not a remote position.
Construction Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:

Assist individuals involved in the assigned construction project to ensure deadlines and customer expectations are met
Other duties may be assigned
Answer phone calls and take clear messages or route calls to the appropriate individual
Schedule meetings and meeting arrangements
Maintain master filing system for jobsite use, in both electronic and hard copy formats, where applicable
Coordinate transmittals, mailings and large volume photocopying
Expedite paperwork as needed
Develop and maintain spreadsheets, edit and distribute correspondence as needed
Coordinate shipping and receiving of any parcels/letters
Monitor consistency and accuracy of project correspondence
Coordinate, develop, and distribute minutes of project meeting and other related documents (budgets, schedules, resource needs, etc.)
Maintain communication with project coordinator
Performs additional duties per supervisor’s direction
Responsible for any visitor logs, call in phone to identify people not present on site, pick up miscellaneous items from Platteville or Dubuque (if needed)

Requirements of the Construction Administrative Assistant:

Minimum of two years administrative support experience, preferably in a construction environment
Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
Degree in business administration, marketing, communications or a similar field is a plus
Possess exceptional organizational, communication (written and oral) and prioritization skills
Ability to work autonomously
Fulfill and complete urgent needs
Present self with a professional, mature and positive demeanor
Ability to work with a variety of personalities
Knowledge of MS Access, Excel, and Word
Must be available to travel to undetermined sites for duration of given project
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk; feel; reach with hands and arms
