Regal Logistics in Fife, WA is seeking for an Inventory Control Manager to join our growing team. The incumbent will be responsible for the accuracy of all physical and book inventory along with location accuracy. Responsible for cycle counts, inventory adjustments, location accuracy, physical inventories, and generating inventory reports

General Purpose:
The incumbent will be responsible for the accuracy of all physical and book inventory along with location accuracy. Responsible for cycle counts, inventory adjustments, location accuracy, physical inventories, and generating inventory reports
Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Schedules and supervises daily cycle count activity to meet industry best practice requirements (locations 2X per calendar year)
Develops procedures and tools for warehouse employees to report inventory discrepancies
Develops processes and procedures to research and correct inventory discrepancies in a timely manner
Works closely with internal IC to adjust book inventory when necessary
Develops procedures and processes to maintain the integrity of location accuracy
Trains and supervises proper work methods to ensure high levels of quality and production within the IC group
Plans, schedules, and conducts all aspects of physical inventories
Generates reports and communicates inventory results to management upon request
Develops and motivates employees and resolves conflict in a professional manner
Ensures employees are operating equipment in a safe and prudent manner
Tracks employee attendance and coach/discipline when necessary

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strong knowledge of inventory control processes and best practices
Proven track record to include innovation and initiative towards continuous process improvement
Strong leadership skills

Excellent organizational skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
Strong problem solving skills; ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues
Ability to multi-task in a high volume fast paced environment
Computer literate and proficient in MS Office (Excel & Outlook) and WMS

Equipment Used: General office equipment including copier, fax, personal computer, and telephone
Supervisory Responsibility: Inventory Control Clerk
Interface: Frequent interaction with employees at all levels
Education and/or Training:

College degree in Business related field
Minimum of 4 years inventory control experience at a management level
