The Account Executive (AE) acts as a main liaison between the agency and the client. The AE is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the account, including collaboration with internal team members and external clients to develop world-class creative product. The AE supports the senior account lead and account team members in day-to-day client business management. The AE is the steward of the client relationship and clients’ business needs, which includes maintaining effective communication with clients and supervising the execution of multiple account deliverables happening simultaneously. The AE must be able to build upon tactical ideas and think strategically about a brand or business. They also work with all departments in the agency and must respect process and drive collaboration.

Builds rapport and credibility to comfortably engage in and foster strong relationships with clients and partner agencies
Researches and understands the brand, monitors competitors and overall category to identify implications that add value for the client in a proactive manner
Influences the development of the highest quality of creative work by sharing knowledge of the client/business/brand and demonstrating strong client and creative judgment
Issues and updates written weekly status reports and distributes conference reports following meetings to ensure client and agency are in agreement
Effectively facilitates the communication between Publicis, client, and our partner agencies (media, retail, digital, Hispanic) to ensure seamless creative outcome and media placement
Works with studio, producers, and project management to create ship schedules and open and close job numbers
Problem solves potential timing, casting, and budgetary concerns for production
Uses knowledge of advertising production processes in all media (TV, print, radio, outdoor, digital, branded content), both technically and in terms of time and cost to benefit clients’ budgetary goals
Remain actively involved in “day-to-day” client initiatives, including understanding of business building, strategy, media and creative projects


Bachelor’s degree required
2-3 years account experience in a creative advertising agency preferred
Proven experience on retail and/or fast paced accounts, and in working with partner agencies and directly with clients
Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Exceptional written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate clearly, openly, honestly and with integrity
After hours work and overnight travel required

Thrives in fast-paced creative environment, often working under pressure to meet tight deadlines
Action-oriented and a proactive problem-solver. Generates original ideas, experiments with different approaches to find better solutions, and identifies ways to improve processes/ situations
Excellent organization and time management skills necessary to prioritize workload and multi-task with attention to detail
Focuses on important issues only and regularly refocus on results
Strong financial understanding of budgeting, estimating, and agency profitability
Ability to effectively and appropriately interact with co-workers at a variety of levels, across many disciplines
A proven track record of gaining trust and respect by consistently demonstrating sound critical thinking skills and maintaining composure in stressful situations
Can present information and feedback in one-on-one and group situations with confidence and tact
