Description:
Position Summary:
Interact with commercial and technical key contacts to support the relationship with customers. Responsibilities include account management, new business development, and company representation at customer sites.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Represent Aludyne on technical and commercial issues in line with business strategy to your customers
Work with the Aludyne team to collect cost information, establish program pricing and profitability per established guidelines
Prepare business cases for review and approval during new business acquisition, launch, and production
Preparation of detailed quotes and negotiation of product, development, and tooling costs including verification of price-relevant data
Create, negotiate and maintain all Customer sourcing agreements and related documents needed to maintain and secure new business
Manage customer cost reduction and materials programs to optimize our position in both short and long term
Manage Customer open issues relating to purchase orders, tool orders, customer payments, obsolescence, accruals, royalty payments, past due account receivables, etc.
Travel to customer locations, plants, and supplier locations as necessary to develop and maintain customer relations
Marketing intelligence.
Study the competition and look for new opportunities.
Develop new customers.
Develop replacement plans for existing programs.
Prepare company presentations.
Participate in shows.
Participate in quote feasibility reviews.
Review quotes and price break-down documents with customers.
Get feedback from customers regarding programs not awarded.
Obtain customer letter of intent.
Requirements:
Skills

Ability to deal with multiple levels of people effectively, in group and individual settings
Ability to effectively deal with customer purchasing team and functional groups
Intermediate computer literacy, specifically in Excel
Intermediate math and business writing skills
Demonstrated ability to develop project plans and manage projects to successful completion
Ability to learn new programs, activities, and tasks
Good oral/written communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to facilitate small group meetings
Strong organizational, planning, and documentation skills

Knowledge

Excellent communication and presentation skills are required.
