Stateline Boys & Girls Clubs is searching for individuals to work in our after school programming within our licensed facility. Looking for part-time workers for after-school childcare. Key Job Responsibilities:
Assist with organizing and facilitating programs and activities for youth ages 6-18
Ensure a safe and positive climate at all times
Implement Boys and Girls Club programming as directed, maintain a high level of enthusiasm, and be supportive and encouraging to all children participating
Demonstrate the ability to diffuse problem situations between children
Keep accurate records, including time sheets, program attendance, behavior/injury reports, etc.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Will consider individuals who have taken early childhood/child care classes
Preference will be given to those who meet the education requirements to be an assistant teacher in a licensed childcare facility, per DCF 251 Licensing Rules for Group Child Care Centers (school-age only program), page 11 (Responsibilities and qualifications of staff)
