ABOUT YOU
Experienced in services enabled by on-vehicle and cloud software gained in product planning, research or technical development with an automotive manufacturer, Tier 1 or 2 supplier, research institution, and/or other consulting firm
Articulate in vehicle electrical architecture types, the benefits and challenges associated with software-defined services, and the decisions facing car-makers regarding ‘build or buy?’ software strategies
Ability to research and understand new topics at a high level in short timeframes
The ability to manage several projects simultaneously and plan your own work and the work of others to meet client commitments
Adaptability to changing priorities. Resilience to handle the hurdles that come up during project/report execution
Creative flair and ability to turn analysis into client-friendly digestible deliverables
The ability to develop robust, repeatable service methodologies for client projects
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport and inspire confidence with SBD’s clients
Effective Microsoft PowerPoint skills for clear presentations and Microsoft Excel skills for complex modelling/forecasting/calculations
The ability to build rapport through effective presentations and the ability to communicate complex ideas in a succinct and persuasive manner.
OTHER GREAT SKILLS YOU MAY HAVE
Experience of developing SWOT, PESTEL, Business Canvas and other structured strategic analysis techniques.
Experience of working with clients globally, including China, Japan, India, Europe and North America.
Experience of leading, coaching and developing diverse teams.
A DAY IN THE LIFEThe role will expose you to a variety of project areas where you can utilize your project management skills to manage and successfully complete research tasks and customer deliverables on time:
Deliver a variety of consulting projects to the satisfaction of the client:
Understand and clarify the client’s request
Contribute to technical proposals
Lead the delivery of complex consulting work
Derive technical and strategic insights from research data
Technical account management to client satisfaction
Take the lead on technical client accounts
Proactively maintain client relationships on technical aspects
Present quarterly trends to customers highlighting actionable insights
Contribute to analytical reports which deliver concentrated insights and strategic analysis of CASES technologies and functions
Knowledge sharing within SBD
Actively share knowledge in a consistent and structured way
Develop people on technical topics by creating and presenting Bitesize training company wide
Coach and mentor others to achieve excellence
