Redwood Outdoors is seeking a creative, self-starter to join our team. The ideal candidate has excellent time management skills, is a self-motivated problem solver, and can manage numerous projects at once. The Content Creator will be an integral team member, responsible for increasing our online presence and improving our marketing outreach efforts through a variety of social media and digital channels.
In this role, you will develop original content and then identify creative ways to attract more customers as well as promote our brand. This position will be responsible for creating and maintaining social media profiles. This position will be trusted with understanding key performance indicators for social media so they can provide attractive tailored content to the brand’s target audience.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Create engaging text, images, and video content to drive social media engagement and traffic to our website that leads to customer conversion.
Oversee the creation of new photo and video content to be used as part of marketing campaigns.
Ideate and execute marketing campaigns and posts on social media (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitch, You Tube etc).
Create marketing email strategies for various campaigns as well as create and edit content for all said emails.
Oversee, manage, and create paid advertising that circulates throughout social media and is intended to promote our profession and our services with the intent of driving leads.
Use social media marketing tools to optimally schedule daily posts, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics.
Stay on top of cultural trends, milestones, and newsworthy happenings to develop strategic social media recommendations, accordingly.
Understanding of best practices when working with influencers and content creators.

Qualifications:

Degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or related subjects (OR, in lieu of degree, minimum 3 years direct experience in social media marketing).
Usage and understanding of social media / marketing platforms such as Facebook, Facebook Business Manager & Creator Studio, Google AdWords, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.
1 to 2 years of professional social media experience is preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and general copywriting skills.
Ability to read and write in English.
Experience working in e-commerce is a plus.
Basic graphic, photo, and video editing as well as experience with aspect ratios per social media platform, and content creator platforms like Canva, Unfold, etc. is a plus.
Be a self-starter and able to work independently.
Have a desire to grow with the company and advance in role.

Location and Structure:

Tukwila, WA (near Southcenter Mall)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
