Job Description :
The ideal candidate would have previous experience in the commercial storefront glazing industry. Should have a solid understanding of aluminum commercial doors and frames, commercial storefront and curtain wall materials, windows, hardware, and glass.
Responsibilities
Receive and process customer request for product pricing from take-offs, architectural blueprints, specifications, lists, internally generated information, and other documentation and properly accommodate such items and/or pass them along to associated project manager.
Receive and process customer orders, material returns, change orders, and/or cancellations and properly accommodate such items and/or pass them along to associated project manager.
Provide product availability and information to customers as needed.
Hand and computer-generated calculations.
Perform effective communication to the customer base for quoting, project coordination, and delivery.
Answer phones and provide friendly support or direction as needed.
Assist in filing of paperwork and manage the in/out flow of paperwork through typical routine processes.
Assist in scheduling UPS and LTL freight shipments through online broker
Process PO request for miscellaneous items upon request.
Qualifications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
Previous field or office knowledge of commercial storefront industry
