Job Description :
We are a collaborative and patient focused private-practice dental office seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. Our office maintains a positive, friendly, low-pressure environment that makes patients comfortable and team members happy to come to work. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and organized with great customer service skills. This role is the first line of communication with patients and helps to maintain good customer relations with all patients and their families. They will assist patients in understanding treatment and financial options to receive the best care possible. Prior customer service experience is required; dental or medical experience is preferred. General office computer skills are also required, and experience with practice management software (especially Open Dental) is a plus. This is part time position, 28-35 hours per week.
Your primary duties would include:

greeting patients and answering phones

scheduling and confirming appointments

collecting payments from patients

entering procedures and payments in practice management software

creating and reviewing treatment plans with patients

verification of patient insurance benefits

coordination with other dental offices and dental laboratories

helping to keep the office schedule running smoothly

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.50 – $21.00 per hour
