Job Description :
Ray-Mont Logistics is a dynamic organization focused on becoming the essential link in the international business logistics supply chain. We provide various operational logistics services such as loading, transportation and storage of surplus products.
Ray-Mont Logistics is currently seeking a Dispatcher to join its vibrant team. The working hours are Monday to Friday from 6am to 5pm and occasional Saturdays.
As a professional team member of Ray-Mont Logistics the main responsibilities of the Dispatcher consists of the following:
General Tasks
Provides load planning, driver scheduling/appointments, and dispatch duties for dedicated in house fleet.
Maintains positive and encouraging working relations with all colleagues and drivers
Provides constant communications of order issues to teams in Seattle, Spokane & Terminal Operations
Provides daily and weekly performance data reports
Utilize internal system to address issues and document interaction with drivers
Follow specific escalation process in the event of major service failure / issue.
Respond promptly to driver or other team needs.
Accurate and timely entry into operation system of empty/loads status
Keeping EDI reports up to date with communication with carriers
Assists with implementing Safety and Operational programs
Ensures accurate and timely completion of daily and weekly tasks
Responding to and filing emails to keep shared inbox clean
Managing standby times from drivers at port to ensure production standards are kept
Qualifications
Must have at least 1 year of Port Drayage Experience working with ocean container drayage customers
High school diploma
Minimum 1 yrs experience with drayage / intermodal business
Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
Communication skills – verbal and written.
Listening skills.
Customer-focused team player.
Time management skills.
Computer knowledge of Outlook and MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).
Well organized with high attention to detail and accuracy.
