High-quality preschool located in Cassopolis is currently looking for an Early Head Start Associate Teacher (Floater) serving children ages 0-3.
Must love working with children and communicate effectively. Opportunities for career advancement are available if qualifications are met. Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or have an approved exemption on file. Pre-employment requirements include a drug screen, physical and TB test.

Position Summary: Assists EHS teacher in working with infants and toddlers and organizing the classroom based on developmentally appropriate practices. Assists with lunch time prep and implementing curriculum and on-going assessment consistent with program policies, developmentally appropriate practice and the Head Start Performance Standards. Works as a partner with families in the health and education of their children. Provide support to center classrooms daily or as assigned.
Job Type: Full-Time, Full Year
Starting Pay: Base: $11.72 CDA: $13.32 AA: $14.91
Education Requirement: Minimum HS Diploma/GED and able to obtain a CDA within 2 years of hire.
Experience: One-year related experience preferred.
