Every Woman’s Place (EWP) is a full-service agency that works to provide comprehensive services to all individuals impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, and sex trafficking in Muskegon County, Michigan. The mission of Every Woman’s Place is to strengthen individuals within the community by being a safe haven and advocate for those who have been affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, and sex trafficking. Whether it is through counseling, crisis intervention, or children’s services, Every Woman’s Place seeks to provide a safe place for victims to heal and feel empowered. The staff at Every Woman’s Place are a valued part of the organization and EWP recognizes the high level of stress and burnout that can come with the nature of the work. The Opportunity
Every Woman’s Place is seeking a compassionate and experienced Executive Director who will direct all activities of the organization while fulfilling the organization’s mission, vision, and values. Working in collaboration with the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will work to maintain a clear purpose and direction for the organization through developing strategies, fundraising initiatives, and program development.
As a visionary leader, you will work to develop and maintain relationships within the community by helping to support events hosted by EWP, attending community events, and networking within the community. With your excellent relationship-building skills, you will work to secure fundraising to support new programs and initiatives for our diverse clientele.
With your strong organization and leadership skills, you will help maintain operational effectiveness through mentoring and guiding our staff and overseeing the financial well-being of the organization. You will help support new initiatives for the organization including plans to create a new building that will help broaden the reach of Every Woman’s Place and better serve our community.
Our Ideal Candidate

Must possess a bachelor’s degree (Master’s is preferred but not required)
10-15 years of leadership experience in the non-profit industry
Grant writing and grant management experience
Strong background in client services and relationship building
A passion for the mission of the organization and serving the community
