Job Description
The Global TPM Architect is responsible for integrating business, information, and technology architecture to create solutions Trade Promotion Management and Optimization and in some cases, cross capability areas like Sales & distribution & Finance. This role is viewed as an expert in resolving complex Trade Promotion Management/Optimization architecture issues in partnership with enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, Security. Has strong knowledge of business functions like HQ Planning, Account Planning, Demand Planning, Promo Planning, Promo Execution / Settlement, Trade Reporting & Promotion optimization. Role will report to an Associate Director of RGM / TPM organization. Role will not have any direct reports.
Scope/Categories
Key Interfaces: Regional Business Partners, Regional Business SMEs, Regional TPM Product Owners, Functional Consultants, Solution Engineers, Enterprise Architects and Project Managers.
External Interfaces: Consultants, 3rd Party providers. Travel may include approximately 15% of work time.
The scope is Global with all KC categories for the sales and TPM / RGM functions.
Key Accountabilities
Design TPM solutions globally ensuring solution aligns with business requirements and processes and provides enterprise information consistently
Collaborates with other Solution Engineers and Enterprise Architecture to make sure that solutions fit within enterprise context and aims for standardization of solutions across K-C’s application landscape.
Translates non-functional and functional requirements into end-to-end trade promotion management solution which integrates effectively with other areas like SAP ECC – SD / Pricing / FICO, Demand Planning, Infrastructure, Platform, Security & Audit / Controls
Define technical and functional standards and ensure delivered work meets technical, functional, performance and business requirements as well as best practices
Partner with product teams to help on sprint planning and PI planning to manage feature and deployment roadmaps and measure and manage market adoption based on data lake implementation and milestones
Collaborate with product vendors to influence product roadmaps and delivery of features based on agreed SLAs and pricing models
Build relationships with internal and external service providers and support teams to ensure operating efficiency and stability
Perform regional customer follow-up and maintain healthy customer satisfaction scores (RGM and IME user and champions)
Key Qualifications and Experiences
Bachelor’s degree; 7+ years of continuous experience in software engineering, software development, solution architecture with SAP technologies.
Hands-on delivery experience in applications such as SAP TPM / CBP, SAP CRM, SAP SD, SAP FiCO, SAP FSCM, as well as capabilities analytics using reporting tools like Analysis for Office, PowerBI etc.
Deep knowledge of SAP Trade management (CBP, TPM, Funds, Claims, Settlements) with at least 2 full life-cycle implementation experience as Solution architect
At least one implementation of SAP TPM – CBP is a absolute must
At least one implementation of SAP TPM / S4 integration is a must
Strong experience in either SAP CRM related configurations and/or SAP CBP design / build (aka BW and HANA)
Well-versed with data flow between SAP CRM & ECC/S4 & SAP CRM to / from SAP CBP/BW
End to End experience with Testing, Cutover, Go-Live, Hypercare, SAP Max attention services & Managed services preferably with TPM projects
Holistic IT background, including security, infrastructure, platform, audits / controls & analytics.
Strong CPG background (at industry or as consultant)
Experience in complex SAP environments.
Experience and desire to work in a consulting environment with global teams
Good analytical, logical problem solving skills with the ability to understand new tasks quickly
Outstanding organizational, communication, interpersonal, relationship-building skills conducive to collaboration at all levels
