Job Description:

Position Summary:
This role is r esponsible to manage retail support services in partnership with the operations support team and company leadership. Ensure the department programs, strategic initiatives, and services achieve budgeted sales, goals, and overall satisfaction (OSAT) and associate satisfaction objectives.

Here’s what you’ll do:
Manage the front-end, scanning, and receiving support service team members and operations to achieve goals and boost store performance and associate satisfaction.

Manage department objectives and monitor stated objectives for effectiveness and improvements in productivity.

Responsible for the communicating and monitoring of department support services and processes in all retail locations.

Utilizing internal audit scorecards and reporting to improve store performance and achieve excellence in audit related areas, supporting company policies and government regulations within the retail stores.

Execute strategies to support related corporate initiatives, growth, and reinforce policies to maximize department and store effectiveness.

Maintain effective working relationships both internally and externally (i.e., cross-functional business partners, retail management and associates, vendors, etc.) and develop collaborative efforts for increased performance, customer loyalty, and profitability.

Build relationships with retail store service partners (i.e., Lottery, Western Union, Coinstar , vending, etc.) to improve offerings, maximize sales and commissions, and grow customer base.

Identify opportunities and recommend process improvements to enhance store efficiencies and profitability and work cross-functionally (i.e., Accounting, Distribution, IT, Marketing, Merchandising, Pricing, Procurement, Shelf Technology, etc.) to implement improvements to meet company goals and objectives.

Ensure that federal and state regulations and company standards are met.

Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and best practices; make recommendations to improve current programs and processes.

Here’s what you’ll need:
Bachelor’s Degree (Required) in Business Administration or related area, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience .

Five years combined Retail experience to include store planning/resets, retail operations, etc.

Two years of management or leadership experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work cross functionally and with all levels in the organization.

Strong organization, problem-solving and time management skills.

Must be detailed-oriented and able to lead and motivate team to meet deadlines.

Proficient in MS Office (Excel and Word).

May be required to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally. The associate is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time and may bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is subject to a typical retail store environment (varied temperatures) and is exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. Travel requirements vary by assignment.
