Your Responsibilities
As a Material Coordinator at John Deere Horicon Works in Horicon, Wisconsin, you will coordinate the procurement of internally manufactured and externally procured production materials to support production. In addition, you will:
Expedite material to avoid shortages and coordinate deliveries to meet all system due dates
Lead maintenance of inventory accuracy
Determine parts to be audited and correction of quantities along with root cause analysis and identification
Assist in the analysis of material replenishment cycles and propose changes were deemed appropriate
Lead projects for inventory accuracy, material availability and material replenishment
Visa sponsorship is NOT available for this position
What Skills You Need
1 or more years of experience with manufacturing concepts such as Deere production system, Demand Flow, Kanban, Just-In-Time, and Lean Manufacturing
1 or more years of experience with SAP data analysis
Advanced problem-solving skills
1 or more years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams
What Makes You Stand Out
Experience with SAP Warehouse Module, Inventory Control and/or Materials Management Modules
Experience in Supply Management or Operations
Experience working with a unionized workforce
Associate Degree or higher
Education
Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
Associate Degree or 1 year related work experience
