Job Description :
Scope
The Pricing Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the pricing database which includes updating of standard cost, freight rates, and margin. This individual will provide pricing support to the Product Management team, will work closely with the Sales team, and will communicate directly with customers and prospects as needed. The position reports directly to the Supply Division Pricing Manager and will collaborate regularly with Sales, Accounting, and other departments as required. This role is essential to the Supply and Logistics division and directly affects the companys profitability.
Significant Activities and Deliverables

Maintain product cost database for fuels, lubricants, and propane
Provide product cost and sales data to support sales and operations
Responsible for creation of new and management of existing customer pricing profiles as requested by sales team
Partner with product management and sales teams, gather competitive intelligence and develop historical data base to identify sales trends and improve decision making
Troubleshoot customer and product pricing issues with regions and billers
Work with suppliers to gain pricing support to maintain and capture new business
Partner with IT group to establish and maintain effective pricing processes
Investigate cost discrepancies between internal database and suppliers and identify/report on root causes
Oversee product cost import process into internal database through automatic and manual import entries
Establish and maintain reporting to measure pricing execution and inventory management performance
Work with product management team to establish demand planning processes and develop metrics to measure performance
Other duties as required

Qualifications

Bachelors degree preferred.
Microsoft Office (Word and Excel required).
Must have strong knowledge of operational and accounting concepts.
