What you’ll be doing:
Provisioning services from orders taken by customer service and coordinating the engineering of services for installation for the technicians and customers. The Provisioning and Device Analyst is responsible for engineering equipment and plant records to assist technicians and customer support with successful installation at customer sites. Responsible for choosing equipment and ports for customers that will accommodate services ordered.
Plan and coordinate timely processing of orders from customer care and provision services for technicians by needed dates for installs and customer premise visits
Assign equipment and build ports in Calix or Tellabs for customers to specifications of service orders
Update service orders with provisioning information and provide to technicians in a timely manner to meet deadlines
Analyze, provision and process general orders for changes to customers’ services that do not require a truck roll (Feature changes in the META, TAQUA, Minerva, Wireless)
Other duties as assigned
What we’re looking for:
You need to bring…
Associates degree or equivalent experience
2 years of system analysis, telecommunications experience and/or computer/networking experience
If would also be helpful to have…
