Location/Division Specific Information
The BioProduction Division (BPD) is one of the fastest growing businesses in the company, supporting developers and manufacturers of biological-based therapeutics and vaccines. Our portfolio of best-in-class products span the bioprocessing workflow from discovery through large-scale commercial production. Our business is driving performance in bioprocessing through collaboration with our customers. How will you make an impact?
The Regional Market Development Manager is responsible for developing, executing, and measuring regional strategies and marketing plans. Driving impactful marketing activities that build a leadership position in the bioprocessing industry is key to this role. Working with Global Marketing, Product Management, and Commercial, this individual helps drive region execution of marketing campaigns and product launches for an assigned product portfolio, to support revenue growth and build the opportunity funnel.

What will you do?

Contribute to the success of the BioProduction business by generating demand, building brand awareness, and nurturing leads through the sales funnel
Develop and deliver the regional marketing strategy and plan. Deploys marketing tactics utilizing a multichannel approach including print, digital, social, events, and sales channels
Perform detailed analysis and routine reporting of regional business performance (i.e. segment sales performance, opportunity pipeline analysis, and campaign results) to make decisions and adjustments to marketing programs
Optimize territory pricing in collaboration with product management and commercial leadership
Nurture KOLs to build regional speaker pipeline for webinars and other events
Meet strict deadlines while keeping multiple active projects organized and optimized
May perform other related duties as required and/or assigned
Willingness to travel up to 25% for work related activities

How will you get here?

Bachelor’s Degree required. Prefer degree in a scientific discipline.
Masters/PhD in a life science area and/or an MBA or advanced marketing degree is preferred


4+ years marketing or commercial experience showcasing the ability to efficiently plan and implement marketing and sales enablement plans to drive revenue growth
Experience in a commercial or technical role in the Bioprocessing/Bioproduction marketing and/or life science industry marketing is preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Possess good current knowledge of the Bioprocessing industry and stays at the forefront of business, technical, and strategic developments. Has an understanding of current technology and applications across target customer segments
In depth knowledge of bioprocessing applications, biologics development and manufacturing processes is preferred
Experience with Salesforce.com is preferred
Highly organized, independent contributor able to deliver on plans and deadlines
Continuous learner who is flexible and adaptable. Embraces new ideas and diverse thinking, and is able to quickly respond to rapidly changing priorities and circumstances
Comfortable working cross-functionally in a highly matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders and business needs
Strong business acumen and customer focus are essential
Team player who is prepared to go the extra mile to accomplish critical objectives to drive business and financial outcomes
Exceptional communication skills as well as analytical, project management and planning skills necessary.
Strong experience with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel skills.
