W ork Schedule :
This is a part-time, FTE .50, evening/night Shift. Flexible hours ranging from 3:00PM – 3:00AM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Weekend rotation may be required.
Pay :
A competitive starting pay of $19.42 per hour, relevant work experience will be considered.

We are seeking a Security Officer to:
Patrol hospital grounds assisting visitors with directions and acting as the first responder to emergencies and disturbances.
Interact with law enforcement, patients, visitors and staff regarding any security or safety issues.
Properly document daily activities and incident reports, using computer software programs.
Monitor and operate access control systems, security camera systems, intercoms, two-way radios, telephones, and alarm systems.
Education :
Minimum – High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred – Associate Degree or progress towards a degree in criminal justice field or a Bachelor’s Degree in any other field of study.
Work Experience :
Minimum – One (1) year relevant experience or appropriate preferred education requirements.
Preferred – Experience in healthcare security, corporate security, or law enforcement.
Licenses and Certifications :
Minimum – Valid Driver’s License and completion of IAHSS Basic Certification within 6 months of hire.
Ability to be insured by Hospital’s risk management insurer which requires (1) a valid Wisconsin Driver’s License, (2) successfully passing a driving background check (3) must be 21 years of age.
