PAY: $18.00/hr
SCHEDULE: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 6am to 6pm
SUMMARY
Responsible for assisting the shift supervisor in managing all outbound shipments both physically and systematically as well as other duties of the Processing / Stocking departments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Handle outgoing shipments by checking them physically Check products for defects and accuracy
Pull, pack and ship finished goods Report and replace any defective item prior to packing
Communicate with carriers and schedule pick-ups for shipments Prepare labels for shipments Prepare invoices and BOL’s Verify accuracy of orders by matching them with quantities, types and shipping methods Ensure that items are properly packed and labeled Make sure that items are loaded onto shipment vehicle in a safe and timely manner Operate forklift to transport shipments from the storage area to vehicle
Maintain department database, prepare routine reports, and file shipping records Handle space arrangement for outgoing shipment areas
Maintain up to date department database, prepare routine Amazon reports, and file shipping records
Back up Wave Management as necessary
Other duties may be assigned to accomplish company or department objectives.
