Social Media Marketing Assistant
Full Time Position
The Social Media Marketing Assistant will be responsible for creating, planning, implementing and monitoring social media strategies for multiple businesses. This position reports to the Marketing & Graphic Design Manager to generate ideas, social media content and assist with branding and promotional campaigns. These efforts will be to increase brand awareness, community engagement, and increase the online presence of our businesses. The Social Media Marketing Assistant will be responsible for maintaining existing social media sites (Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok and Twitter), staying up-to-date on social trends, and will create social media content.
As a Social Media Marketing Assistant, you will develop original content and suggest creative ways to attract more customers and promote our brand. You will increase web traffic and customer engagement metrics aligned with broader marketing strategies.
Job Responsibilities:

Create engaging text, image and video content
Measure the success of every social media campaign using analytics
Report on campaign progress
Stay up to date with latest social media best practices, technologies, and trends
Create scheduled social media and organic social media content, reply to comments on social media pages
Find opportunities for social media promotion and act on them
Create social media banners, graphics, gifs, etc.
Interact with customers and provide good customer service
Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries
Report on online reviews and feedback from customers and fans
Develop an optimal posting schedule
Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and competitions
Assist Marketing Manager with vouchers, printing, in-house sign production & installation and miscellaneous projects
Qualifications:
Understanding of Google My Business, Trip Advisor and Yelp
Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Twitter, Google and other social media best practices
Great Customer Service
Good Communication Skills
Adobe Creative Suite knowledge is preferred
Self-motivated
