RISING GIANT IN AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY SEEKS A STRATEGIC ACCOUNTS SPECIALIST

We’re a successful fast growing company based in Louisville, Kentucky. We’re growing rapidly, undergoing a national expansion. In the past five years, we’ve grown from 60 employees to over 400. We’ve averaged 50% revenue growth each year over the past 8 years. We’re looking for an experienced Strategic Accounts Specialist to help play an important part in our growth. You’ll play a key role in designing and implementing plans when expanding a company. You’ll experience the satisfying feeling of having your ideas immediately put into action – no waiting for a committee or bureaucracy to approve them first.

Purpose
Establish and implement strategies and initiatives to maximize Car Keys Express and Car Care Express revenue growth while maintaining target profitability

Summary
The Strategic Accounts Specialist works in concert with the Strategic Account Manager, the National Sales Director and the Operations Director to ensure continued revenue growth across the brands. The Manager develops and executes initiatives ranging from cultivating strategic corporate growth targets to optimizing advertising and digital performance.

Duties Critical to Success

Identify, develop, execute, and evaluate marketing strategy
Formulate, direct, and coordinate marketing activities or policies
Develop and track KPIs against business plans
Lead Strategic Planning process for Car Keys Express and Car Care Express including segmentation, market sizing/growth, competitive analysis, etc.
Manage marketing campaigns, including digital marketing
Manage and track lead generation programs
Build strong and effective relationships with customers as a secondary day-to-day point of contact
Work interdepartmentally to resolve issues and improve processes to better serve strategic customers
Analyze data sets to dial in on areas of business opportunity
Coordinate or participate in promotional activities or trade shows
Conduct Voice of the Customer analysis to ensure product offering is aligned with customer needs
Initiate development of collateral as needed to support sales and marketing activities including, print pieces, emails, advertisements, web pages, proposals, and reporting
Analyze and evaluate the overall effectiveness of sales methods, costs, and results
Support all Car Keys Express and Car Care Express branding related activities

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Critical to Success

Strong business acumen
Superior analytical capabilities, advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, etc)
Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear, persuasive, and straightforward manner
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
Ability to maintain team culture
Sales & Marketing—knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services (including marketing strategy/tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and CRM systems)
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership, and coordination of people and resources
Knowledge of marketing collateral production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods
Intermediate project management skills
Ability to develop highly professional presentations
Ability to develop detailed forecasts and budgets
Develop a light technical and deep commercial understanding of our solutions

Deliverables

Meet or exceed budgeted revenue for Car Keys Express and Car Care Express
1,200 leads provided to RSMs & AMs annually
95% basecamp posting compliance

Relations to supervisory and subordinating roles within the company

Immediate Supervisor: Strategic Account Manager
Direct Reports: None

Job specifications, standards, and requirements

Bachelor’s Degree (Marketing, Business preferred)
3+ years experience in marketing or marketing leadership role
Expertise in multi-faceted marketing strategies
Proficient in G Suite, Windows/Office, and CRM software
Ability to touch type
Ability to travel as needed 2-3 times per year (for trade shows, corporate initiative support, etc)

Compensation

Pay for this position has a salary range between $40,000-$50,000 plus up to a 10% bonus. Salary is commensurate with experience.
