Job Description :
This position will have responsibility for supply chain planning activities for Datacom and Telecom Connectivity products and the allocation planning process for Telecom Optical Fiber products. This position works under the direction of the Supply Chain Manager to handle all Inbound and Production Planning requirements on a local level. The position will report to the North American Telecom Solutions Supply Chain Manager.

Maintain the production plan/schedule in a daily/weekly basis of the production lines following the Sales Orders priorities and the orders backlog.

Analyzes product specifications, availability and plant capacity and establish accurate delivery dates.

Production progress monitoring and communication of production status and schedule changes with the operators and production supervisors.

Customer facing point of contact with the commercial team on customer calls to appropriately align the backlog with customer requested dates.

Interface with the national account managers to ensure their understanding for accurate and clear discussions with the customer.

Daily update status and schedule the production lines assigned by the Manager.

Follow up and expedite production, rescheduling and re-planning when needed.

Responsible for creation/alteration of documents in SAP: Production orders, batches, storage location movements, etc.

Follow up and expedite raw material with the Purchasing team when needed.

Planning and management of the logistic flows.

Provide recommendations on inventory stocking and replenishment strategies.

Monitor and manage slow moving and obsolete inventory levels.
