Veeam is looking for a Data Scientist/Analyst to join our Talent Acquisition Analytics Team. This individual will be responsible for structuring the research question, determining the best analytical approach, conducting analyses, identifying business-relevant insights, and creating a compelling story to be communicated to key stakeholders and talent executive leadership.
By collecting and correlating talent and performance data from multiple sources, this individual will design and produce impactful reports that show key performance indicators, identify areas of improvement into current operations, and display root cause analysis of problems. This position will be responsible for taking information from multiple sources and designing a centralized repository to allow the team to leverage different visualization tools to serve reports to our partners.
The primary focus of the Talent Acquisition Analytics Team is to deliver workforce reporting and analytic solutions through advanced consultation in addition to ensuring strong data. The Data Scientist/Analyst will be accountable for engagement, adoption, satisfaction and delivery of the reporting and analytics products andamp; services for their client group, while ensuring rigorous governance around HR data.
Manipulate and manage large data sets to provide information and evidence that will help the business make decisions by providing insights and recommendations. Identify and raise awareness around dependencies; and incorporate design thinking, business needs, and resource capabilities into process recommendations.
Develop automated, sustainable routines for extracting information from various data sources
Proactively manage data gaps/accuracy, while ensuring the integrity of analysis through rigorous attention to detail and validation
Design data andamp; insights model to cater to data visualization and be accountable for provision of advanced and predictive analytics to deliver robust analyses and support the delivery of insights to the Talent Executive teams.
User-friendly deliverables (reports, dashboards, presentations, etc.) in Workday that translate detailed data, analysis, and insights into business-appropriate communication and recommendations
Designs, develops, tests, and deploys reporting and dashboard solutions that consolidate and analyze diverse data objects and include data visualizations where appropriate
Strong business acumen and the ability to bridge the gap between business strategy and data interpretation.
Demonstrable understanding of statistics and mathematical concepts relevant to data science.
Experience with data wrangling, cleansing, and data engineering for data science applications.
Experience in Advanced Data Visualization tools, (Tableau, Power BI, Clik, or equivalent) and generation of automatic and scalable visualizations that will facilitate extraction of business insights.
Ability to participate effectively in virtual teams and networks across diverse and dispersed geographies.
Conduct quarterly, monthly, and ad hoc analysis utilizing multiple data sources including Applicant Tracking System, Customer Relationship Management tools, HRIS, and data visualization tools
Strong technical skills in SQL; procedural programming (SQR or comparable) as well as MS Excel VBA knowledge
May use data science and statistical methods (e.g., regression and correlation analysis, uplift, statistical significance) and related tools (e.g., R, Python, Data Bricks, SAS)
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics or related (masters/PHD is great but not required)
