Position Title: Quality Assurance – 1st Shift
Wage: $18.00/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 6:30am – 3:00pm
The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for ensuring safe and quality foods are produced by performing quality control tests and tasks. Have what it takes? Apply to this 1st shift opportunity in Oak Creek, WI today!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Attend and participate in production and QA Tech transitions
Check batch sheets to ensure correct formulation and material is used
Conduct processing, bar line and packaging CPC checks as well as sanitation checks
Report variances in accordance with pr1oblem resolution protocol
Hold raw materials and finished products that fail to meet the established standards and seek and finalize disposition on held items
Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) are carried out by employees
Ensure parameters are recorded with documentation during R&D runs
Requirements for Quality Assurance:
6-12 months of experience in a quality control in a food processing environment preferred
Able to stand, sit, bend, twist, reach, push and pull throughout shift
Good hand dexterity
Able to operator sit-down forklift and pallet jack
Able to lift up to 60lbs
Working knowledge of food safety and QA programs, such as HCCP, GMPs and SPC
Reliable transportation
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Basic math skills
Good communication skills
