The Orthopedic & Sports Institute (OSI) is seeking a 1.0. FTE Surgery Scheduler.. The successful candidate will be dedicated to provide accurate scheduling is a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Schedules surgeries as directed by physician guidelines. Cancels and reschedules surgeries as necessary.
Coordinates surgery center correspondence to facilitate on-going communications and efficient surgery center operations.
Collaborates with the total joint program including scheduling
Associates degree in Health or Medical field
3 years of surgery scheduling preferred
Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
Experience in Epic preferred
Excellent communication skills
Detail orientated
