Job Description :
Willow Springs Care Center is looking an Activities Director to join the team! Come join a great team that wants to make a difference in our residents lives!
Develop and execute resident recreational programs that meet the needs and interests of all residents.
Duties include:
· Attend and contribute to department head and stand up meetings.
· Supervise and guide Activity Assistants
· Interview and assess resident to develop recreation programs for required MDS assessments..
· Complete annual, quarterly and PRN/COC activities assessment and make progress notes as needed.
· Develop a monthly activity calendar based on the residents’ activity interests and needs
· Plan and maintain a budget within guidelines set by Administrator.
· Document resident progress and monitor documentation of Activity Assistants.
· Organize monthly Resident Council Meetings; assist as needed with record keeping and maintain a 12 month record of the minutes.
· Organize and maintain volunteer records and reports.
· Maintain Pet Records and arrange vet visits as needed for facility pets
· Serve on Quality Assurance committee.
· Train, supervise and complete annual reviews of Activity Assistants.
· Attend and contribute to resident care conferences.
· Greet new residents upon admission and provide leisure time supplies as requested, i.e., reading supplies, word puzzles, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour

High school or equivalent (Preferred)
