summary We are looking for a strong candidate to join our talented team. Team members in this area are proficient at multi-tasking and staying on top of a production queue. They efficiently and effectively operate the machines utilized in their area. This is a detail-focused position where self-motivation, attention to detail, a drive to learn new things, and prioritization skills are paramount. This position reports to the Team Managers. This role requires a great deal of flexibility as this position will learn a variety of skills to assist multiple teams in the Blocking and Packaging areas.
responsibilities A significant amount of trust is being placed in your hands as you ensure prints are flawless and machines are kept running at all times of the day. The following is an overview of responsibilities and expectations for this position:
Gluing book spines
Cutting books at the guillotine
Packaging products in presentation boxes and packaging orders for shipping
Inspecting Prints
Building book blocks
Monitoring products through binding processes and identifying bottlenecks
Communicating effectively with team manager
Operating computers and mechanical equipment

Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks and jobs while preventing bottlenecks
Great at multi-tasking and solving problems, especially under pressure
