Job Description :
GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
Maintains Tool Crib and prepares equipment for machine setups. Responsible for maintaining our Preventative Maintenance (PM) software. Maintains spare parts inventory, tracks KPI’s and makes sure all reports are up-to-date per requirements of reports.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Maintain Tool Crib Organization
· Prepares and breaks down Punch Brackets for Setups
· Build and Maintain Zinger and Hot Knife Inventory
· Inspect and maintain the following assemblies: Hole Punch Cylinders, Vertical Perforation, Heater Bar
· Inspect and Maintain Rotary Knives, V-Boards, Vertical Perforation Blades
· Follows-up on due work orders and assist to make sure they are completed during the assigned time period.
· Compile reports with established benchmarks.
· Tracks minimum and maximum inventory levels.
· Purchase spare parts and manage parts location program.
· Compile reports based on departments KPI’s
· Coordinates purchase orders and repair parts deliveries.
Safety related duties
· Performs all job functions in a safe manner and maintains safety awareness.
· Reports known accidents, injuries, and unsafe practices and/or conditions to supervisor
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
· Minimum high school diploma or GED preferred.
· A minimum of 2 years of experience within a manufacturing environment.
· Strong verbal, written and communications skills.
· Demonstrates ability to maintain positive and professional attitude.
· Strong computer skills including Excel and SAP, preferred.
· Basic blueprint reading skills/ability to do this job.
· Proficiency in using basic gauges and measuring instruments.
· Demonstrate good mechanical skills and use of associated tooling.
· Lean experience preferred.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Able to travel up to 5% to other Company locations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 – $32.00 per hour
